No because That would not have made sense they were going to Rohan no were near snow! But in the fellowship of the ring book after the fellowship leaves Rivendell and takes the Redhorn pass they are attacked by wargs in the snow. That would have made a cool sean in the fellowship of the ring movie plus Gandalf shoots fire and them it's cool!

they would ride forward and shoot the enemies as they ride by then also they would sometimes make it look like they are reatreating and fire arows at them as they ride away then come back and charge at them again

I think this topic is closed. People voted that the Warg battle should have been in the snow. But I don't care at all. Would not have made it that cool. And it was not the time to snow in Rohan at that time.
