what if Tolkin had invented a water race for middle earth something like a mermaid

Ulmo is a Valar and he is kinda like a mermaid I think. And he might have created something on that level. I will have to look into it.

I searched water on Tolkien Wiki and it only came up with something about Ents or something.

I figured out a water creature!!!! The Watcher at the West Gate of Moria! Remember he was the Watcher in the water and he pulled one of the Hobbits in the water. He made them run into the Mines of Moria because he was pretty strong. I think it had 13 or 14 arms. It was like a Kraken. Except I think he was evil.
