samung because he recked the city of dale and it was inthe style that a fire breathing dragon should fight by swooping down and breating fire all over the place

It is really really hard to pick a favorite dragon. I would have to say Smaug though. Because he is awesome first of all, and he is really an original dragon and I know him the most from the Hobbit. I hate how he went out though. With a wiz of Bards bow! I love this saying of Smaugs.

yeah i guess smaug has the more popular vote on account of the fact that more people hev read the hobbit than the silmarilion
