those look like some of the most dangerous stairs in all of arda!

also they must be especally dangerous when wet can you think if it started raining when they were climing them

my brothe was telling me when we went hiking the the majoity of accedents happen on the way down so wat if it was raining,muddy, and they have to make the trip down the stairs

I say someone should do away with shelob so that people useing the stairs at least have the satisfaction that there death wont be death by gaint spider I shure that if a hobbit can nearly kill it then any man, elf, or dwarf should be able to kill it

It is not just a Hobbit who almost killed Shelob but it was Samwise Gamge and his great dedication to Mr. Frodo. I think Gimli and Legolas would have a tuff time killing her. She is a Maiar you know. I think it would be an epic battle between Gandalf and Shelob.

It would be a close battle with Gandalf the grey coming out the victor. Gandalf the White would own him.

I like how it happened in the book better with out golum trying to separte sam and frodo
