If it was up to you to give the 3 silmarils to 3 races who would they be and why? You have to give 1 silmaril each to 3 difernt races why would they be and again why? This is kinda like the greek myth about the golden aple. So think about it and tell me who and why?\

P.S. Don't give them to Morgoth lol!

Definitely the Elves, because they are the oldest of the races and they would know about this kind of thing. Not the hobbits because, as useful as they were in the Third Age, most of them are peaceful and wouldn't know how to defend them. If we are talking about the Fourth age then I would also give it to the men. At the time of the Fourth Age, the men were pretty much the dominant race in Middle Earth. I'm not sure why you say that Dwarves are reasonable, sir cody. They are known to be quite stubborn. I would give the third to the Ents. They were made to be guardians. Why not trust them with something else then trees?

i would give one silmaril to the house of hador of men one to the lineage of durin of dwarves and one to the house of finfarfin of the elves these are the most deserving of each of these races and i dont think the ents would bother with the silmarils

I think personally that the ents are the most worthy of all guardians and that if I had to give all three to a race it would be the ents.
