I wonder why nobody in lotr ever gets sick in the middle ages it was pretty easy to get sick especaly when there are rats in middle earth and that was the black death in the 14 centry

Well the only dieses that I can think of is the infection of the Morgul-blade and the black breath of the Nazgul.

Disease obviously isn't important enough for Tolkien to have written about it. There must have been many diseases in Arda.
