not many people of the middle ages could read or right and until the people of middle earth invent the printing press the book will have to be copied by hand by people called copiests funny thing about them many of them couldn't actully read what they were writeing

I think the book the hobbit should hve been called there and back again so it would seem that bilbo wrought it at the end of the book the outsiders the main charecter rights a report called the outsiders and it begins off the exact way the book starts off to make it look like the charecter wroght it wich I think is cool

Yeah I really like how Tolkien tied it together so well with the books that Bilbo and Frodo wrote. Tolkien saw himself as a translator, not a writer, which is cool.
