I like how the hobbits carve there houses out of hills I thought it was funny when gandalf kept hiting his head on the celing in the fellowship but what is weird about hobbit houses is the round doors and windows

Ya I really like them to, especially Bag End. If they were taller I would live in one. And personally I prefer the round doors.

I wonder if the round rooms and hall ways would be stronger then rectangle ones

I think not, they would be weaker because of the perfect shape.

It depends on the way they were both built. But in most cases I would say rectangle would be better.

But if it was made just the right way, maybe a round structure could be better then a regular old rectangle structure.
