I think the nameless things are a variaty of things. Dragons Orcs and Balrogs. Because people are afraid to even name them and they live down there.

I don't think he would have.  He needs to keep the mystery of the creatures alive.  And Olorin, I do not believe that they are anything that we have already seen in Arda.

I know they are not dragons now. Because it is said they are older then even Sauron him self. So they could not be dragons. I now belive they are creatures of the Void, liek Ungoliant may posiably be.
