It never has been but yes it can. And I love dragon armor it is sick and epic looking but it is very heavy! So of corse Mithril it is like battling in dragon armor but yet feal like your wearing leather or cloth. So yes I would wear Mithril.
Well they never said how he looked in the books. I gues they just made him look like a dark lord, like his master, Melkor. In the movie though it is unmistakeably Iron. It looks acsacly like iron but darker. Maybe it is called black iron or dark iron. I know my metels!
O ya! It is worth the protection though. If you melt down the dragon scales you can make it into plate armor! And if you do that it may even be stronger then mithril!
How can you claim that? It is like Iron ore is equal to anouther peace of iron ore. And when one of them is smelted into a bar and then smithed into platmail, which is stronger? You do the math. So how can you claim that it is not stronger then mithril???
No, explain your self. You cant just say it is not and then say only tolkien knows! It is how smithing works. It will be stronger if you smelt it into armor! That is just how it works. When two people get into a dispute you need to say why you think it and give evidence why you think this, like I did. How can some one belive you if you just say it is?

Wow, you're getting pretty heated about this Olorin. You are, however being slightly foolish. You simply said that it could be stronger then mithril. Very vague. While you said how the dragon armor was smelted, you never specified how the MITHRIL was smelted. If mithril was smelted in the same way, it would still be stronger.
