I really like how the Silmarils ended. One was set in the sky, one was thrown in the Ocean, and they other was droped in lava i belive. And one day they will return with Morgoth and Sauron. Don't you think it was cool how it happend.

On Tolkien Wiki it says that they were cast away into all three elements. Sky, fire and water. We have four elements! Do you think that it is only three in Arda because they hadn't made air an element yet or because there isn't an air element?

I think that they haven't made it an element yet because the were still in the First Age.

that would be funny if the valar are sitting on a beach in valinor then all of a sudden ulmo pops up out of the water and says " I found it I found the silmaril!" then  manwe replies " good for you now throw it back"
