I wish I had the cloak from Lothlorien. They are so cool alwase changeing coler and shape. blending you in anywere. In the book When the Fellowship stood under the stars the cloaks looked like a night sky and the stars reflected off of them. I think they are one of the most handy items in Middle-earth. Of corse they also have the really cool looking Mallorn leaf broch as well.

I say not. Just think, and ponder on this... who made Grond? Who ever made grond is the best smith ever to exsist in Arda! I will agree with you that Elven smiths are great and they make awesome weapons and armor though!

in the fellowship the chapter the great river they are going down the river in there boats and orcs are firing at them and tolkien said that it was possable that the orcs kept missing because the cloaks blended in with the boats

I wonder if maybe the cloak's power were a gift from an Ainur. I've never thought of Elves as really being able to make an invisibility cloak all by themselves.
