Ithildin (star moon) is an Alloy made by the Elves but also used by the Dwarves. It was used to decorate portals and gateways. The thing about Ithildin is that it is only visable by starlight and or moonlight. Like on the West side of Moria on the Misty Mountains the gate there that is opend by the word Mellon meaning friend in elvsih. I think if you cover your self in this alloy then you could become invisable.

P.S. The picture below is really cool!

That would be good. But there might be one weakness people think to believe that Mithril dose not protect against blunt damage like any other metal, but it is magic metal so it might protect against anything even magic itself.

maybe the hobbis could benafit from mithril by makeing farm tools out of mitril that wouldn't break or go dull and would be easy to use because of the light weight of mithril after moria is retaken the might not have much of a need to make wepons and armor of mithril and use the mithril for other purposes

Ya who knows it could take millions of years before Moria is retaken. When Morgoth returns with Sauron there will be a great and final battle. Morgoth and Sauron will lose and all evil will be abliterated. That includes the Goblins in Moria. But who knows how long it will take. It is kinda like how one day Jesus will return and take all of us belives up to heven. know one knows when that will be, maybe even 10 Billion years from now. But the point is yes moria will one day be retaken. And I do not belive Mithril shold be wasted on farm tools even if it would be handy and be a good benifit. Here is a big waste of Mithril. In the lord of the rings the return of the king book when Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and some other people come to the seige of Minis Tirith. There flag that Elrond had givin them was rought of Mithril and it shone in the light of the Sun set. And as soon as Gandalf, Eomer, Pippin, Merry, and everyone saw that glim in the flag they new who had come to their ade. Anyways I am babiling on lol, sorry.
