oh I thought you were asking why helms deep was so awsome in order for helms deep to be a castle either eomer or theoden or some other high ranking person has to be liveing there permently

helms deep should also have a drawbridge to conect to the ramp that way the uruk-hai wouldn't have been able to move there battering ram up to the gates

the seige of helms deep is just as awsome in the book as it is in the movie and it is nice that they don't switch between the battle and what merry and pippin are doing

it was in the chapter the road to isengard a bunch of huorns came to helms deep in the night and the naext morning the bodies of the uruks were all gone and the rest that I told you about it was creepy and for a second I thought the huorns had eaten the uruks but then the book described the "mystious hill"

peter jackson made the plate armor of the uruk-hai all wrong arrows are not suposed to be able penatrate plate armor but inbeetween the plates it could and when the riders are leaveing helms deep one of them slashes an uruks face right on the helmet bu that is not suposed to happen either

The eye hole was weak for that is posible for the uruks face to get slashed by king theoden. That is were it is weak and thin. And arows can get through the uruks plate armor, because the elves from lorien had elven arows that are in a way magical. So it dose make sence if you think it over Sir Cody.
in the book there are n elves save legolas but there are the wild men of dunland but it is the opisite for the movie but in the perfect lotr movie (wich would be takeing the best parts of both and makeing them into three movies) there would be both wild men and elves
