Well they had no one to train them. And also what I ment to say was compared to the other races of Middle-earth like the men and elves and dwarves they are not that good.

I wonder if the easterlings that nearly caught frodo and sam were ordered to check it out or if they were curios and how do you know that there no good they never fight in lotr maybe they could be the best fighters in all of eastern middle earth

I think every civilisation either comes up with there own or learns a fighting stile from another civilisation and if the easterlings are suposed to be based off of the saracens then they would realy good fighters compared to the men of the west and during the crusades the saracens kicked the europeans buts

Ya but they are not those people! They are probably good fighters but the men coudl own them, this I am sure of. As long as they do not have mumikil lol. Based off of means same but not the same some diferentes. So just because they are based off of good fighters does not mean that they are good fighters them selfs.

Sir Cody raised an interesting point and has, in fact, swayed me. I think that they could be good fighters. Every civilization (especially in those times) learns from experience. They could have taught themselves. Thank you, Sir Cody.

yes but we NEVER saw them fight so how do we know maybe they were working as gards in bara-dur so they didn't fight in the battle at the black gate and as your saying gose "do not be so quick to judge people wither it be good or bad"

Hey I did! They fought in the Book agenst Men! And they lost! You are geting your information from the movie and that is what makes you wrong Sir Cody. Never say Never. And NEVER use my own saying against me. I don't say somthing inless I mean it, and if I mean it then I don't go agains myself. I am saying this, they are good fighters, they just are not as good as Men! I am not jusgeing them it is a fact they are not as good as men!

The easterlings are men as well, correct? And as I recall, they were hard pressed by three different armies, all very large. Besides, Sauron hired them, and he is no fool... well in some ways he is, but not in that way. I agree with Sir Cody, They probably did have their own fighting style that they taught themselves. They must be hard men. They were able to train the Mumakil for crying out loud!
I was a fool back then! I am sorry. The easterlings are great warriors I know that now through research. But by the way it is the Haradrim who tamed the Oliphants. Totaly different people. But still they are all great warriors.
