It was an awesome war! And It says that only 7 balrogs have been recorded but it still also says that there were 1000 balrogs in the war of wrath? What gives?

That would be a nightmare. They would have to animate about 100 individual people for the front and then they could just copy and paste. I shudder just thinking about it.

Hey, they did it in the lord of the rings movies. Same thing. 100 people or so in front and you copy all of them. No matter what the number.

Ya, they would have to have really advanced animating computers. And still do it slow to make the computer not crash.

Ya they probably would. Aay ways now that you are geting on here Illuvatar... why do you think that it is listed in the war of wrath that there were 1000 balrogs but in Tolkiens latter works it is stated that there was only ever 7. Why is that?

Yes! In topic of the war of wrath it says 1000 balrogs were involved but in the balrog topic it says there were never more then 7 acording to Tolkien's latter works. Why do you think that???

Well we know now that it was just because Tolkien changed his mind about the number of Balrogs.
