I was thinking about a person that shall remain anonymous *cough*"sir cody"*cough* making a whole bunch of topics just asking questions that are answered quickly and then there is no point for the topic. So I have started this topic. The question and answer topic. Someone asks a question. It is resolved, then a new question begins.

I think that when the fellowship visits lorein either they were all going crazy or galadriel realy is a witch just as gimli said in the movie and if galdriel was trying to talk to me in my mind I would think back to her "get out of my mind" in the book borimir sums it up perfectly by saying "I am not to shure about this elvish ladies purposes" and that was what I was thinking when I watched the movie for the first time

Wow, according to the Encyclopedia of Arda, they do exist. This is taken directly from the site.
Mighty creatures of the Misty Mountains, and perhaps elsewhere in Middle-earth. The only known reference to them occurs in The Hobbit, in which Bilbo and the Dwarves encounter them as they cross the Misty Mountains. During a storm, the Stone-giants emerge, and cast huge boulders about a rocky valley as part of a bizarre game.
The difficulty of fitting Stone-giants (and all giants, for that matter) into Tolkien's world has led some to see the Stone-giants as a metaphor for crashing thunderbolts, or something similar. However, the detail of the Stone-giants' description, and the occurrence of other giants in Tolkien's work, makes it seem likely that these creatures actually did exist in Middle-earth.
Here is the link to that site. http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/s/stonegiants.html
Interesting.

Ya I know that but I usumed they are just called stone giants because they throw stones. They don't call hill giants hill giants because they are made out of hills they just live there.
isn't it a stange coinsadens that rohan gondor (and the elves if they made bilbo's mithril) all happen to have hobbit sized wepons and armor even though hobbits are non wariors

Well the mithril coat that bilbo found in Smaugs cave, was fit for a very small young prince. And the Rohan and Gondor swords that Merry and Pippin used where short swords that were looked like regular swords because they were small. And if you are refuring to the movie then that movie is incorect. There we go that should anwser all of your questions.

It was made special for him. Stronger faster, and even probably looks diferent. The quiver might have been the same I am not sure. However the arrows were the normal lorien arrows, but they are great arrows none the less.
