Yes!!! Lol jk. Well he was only reading that book in the movie and not in the book. So with Petter Jackson's humor, he probably was reading the Silamrillion or the Lord of the Rinngs, haha!
Ya and if it was written down and recorded then a Hobbit would not be reading it, I am sure of that. Unless that book was in the hored of Smaug and Smaug got it from an elve who he killed and horded everything he had, and that elve was recording the history down of the Waro f Jewles. And then Bilbo found it and then he gave it to frodo??????????????? Lol no jk. That is not posable because it makes a compleat list of what bilbo brought back from the Hord of Smaug the Golden and he did not bring back any books, not one.
Hold on a second. He could have gotten it from Smaug. Just because it says he comes back with gold and jewels doesn't mean that that is the only thing he came back with. Gold and jewels is simply the generic thing to say when describing treasure.

Utumno is the original fortress of Morgoth. It is also named Udun. (which means 'hell' in Sindarin) It is in the far north of Middle Earth. In the Iron Mountains.

You guys are saying that it is posable for Smaug to have had it. I said that first. You guys are treating it as if you came up with it, when you didn't. And if could not have happened in the movie. But in the real story of Arda yes.
Lol no jk. That is not posable because it makes a compleat list of what bilbo brought back from the Hord of Smaug the Golden and he did not bring back any books, not one.

Yes, I said he did not bring back any books. But the word tresure, could mean anything, including a book. I did not say it was not in his cave. And if that book exsisted the elves men or dwarves would have takin it. Not a hobbit. You know that.
Ya it could have happend, but I think the elves would have got a hand on it befor anyone els like a hobbit did. He had more to wory about then a book at that time.
