Hey before you vote Sir Cody and every one else lisen to this. Morgoth the original and true dark lord had both Maiar Gothmog the lord of balrogs and Sauron the future dark lord as his loyal servnents. Gothmog was Morgoths General, the high captin of the inpenitrable fortress of Angband. Sauron was Morgoths lutenit and was put in compleat charge of Angband. So who is better? We all know that a general (Gothmog) is higher in rank then that of a lutenit (Sauron). However Sauron was more trusted it seems because he was put in compleat charge of Angband. However Gothmog was on the battle field more then Sauron. Maybe Morgoth knew that Gothmog was stronger then Sauron, so that is why he put him in a higher rank. But it is said that Sauron was the greatest Maiar of all time. How ever we do not know if he was the greatest before or after the forging of the One Ring. So don't just jump ahead and say Gothmog is a balrog he would kill Sauron and vote for him. But don't just say Saruon is better either. Take time and think about it who is better? And then vote!\

I vote Gothmog as well. For many reasons. Just read above and those are all my theorys. But one thing that is stuck in my mind to say is. Sauron was more trusted that is why he was put in charge of Angband, however Gothmog is more powerful so he was put in charge of Morgoths armys on the battle field. So my vote goes toards Gothmog. Good Confersastion, even if it was mosty spoken towrds my self lol.
