Hey I just relised the similer endings between the narnia books and Arda. In narnia a giant crushes the Sun and the kings and queens of narnia go to narnia heven. In Arda, Melkor finds a way to break the doors of night in the void. He escapes and destroys the sun and moon. And because of this dwarves, men, elves, Maiar, Valar, and even dead men and elves alike come back to life to face Morgoth for what he was done. Because everyone loved the sun and this pulled all of these people together to defeat Morgoth. This final battle results in Morgoths dead by the hand of Turin who drives his sword Gurthang through Morgoths heart. This is a incredable similarity between Tolkiens end of Arda and the Norse legend of the Ragnarok. The Silmarils will be recovered from the Earth, sky, and water. And the light of them will once again return too the two trees of Aman that light up Arda. Eru will invite all of his children the Valar, Maiar, dwarves, elves, men, everybody to come and sing a second great music. This was called the second music of the Ainur. They will create a new world, in a way a second Arda. No one knows what this new world will be like, all they know is that it will be greater then the first.
P.S. If you have any questions on this topic at all or on the final battle of Arda, just ask me and I will anwser it.
o that is cool! Ya I love the final battle in Arda it is epic! Every bad thing down to balrogs, dragons, orcs, and even the Nazgul and the Witch-king will return in the Battle of Battles.
P.S. Dagor Dagorath is the real name for the final battle of Arda. Dagor Dagorath is Sindarin for Battle of Battles or Final Battle.
