Ya, that is one of my favorite armors. The scales made the sword slide off the armor when the enemy tryed to slice you. And I like that picture of Ulmo. But this one is my favorite one.
that would be cool if ulmo was watching the armada of numeanor coming to valinor then manwe calls out to him "hey ulmo can you sink those ships " ulmo replys ya shure then he raises up a huge wave hat crashes down apon the fleet like posiden

I don't think so. It's just the correlation between Poseidon and him that made the artists depict him holding a trident. Tolkien Wiki says he has great horns called the Ulumúri, but it never mentions a trident.

Thank you for agreeing with me Asmodeus, however I do not know if that post would break rule 8 or not, you should go to the rules and read rule 8 Asmodeus just in case you did.
Ulmo is not very peaceful in my opinion. He is not warlike by any means though. He, like all of the Valar, wants the world of Arda to live in peace but if the time comes he can be very dangerous indeed. He also seems more peaceful because he seems to care more about the realm of Middle Earth then the other Valar (Except for Yavanna).

Ya I agree. He often helps Elves and Men who are strugeling all through out the Silmarillion as well. I am sure he could cause trimendos damage if it called for it.
Oh and by the way that's another reason I like him. He is fair and I think he is in like the top three Valar that understand Iluvatar's designs most. Along with Manwe and Mandos I think.
