Rohan being awesome has nothing to do with Merry being a good fighter my friend, lol. And he snuk up on the witch-king and stabed him, that dose not make him a good fighter either Sir Cody. He did however kill some Uruk-hai. But my Vote goes tords Samwise. He fought Shelob off got rid of the Orcs in Cirith Ungol and everything, even fought Gollum. Merry really did not do much fighting.

Yes, but he is still a skiled fighter in the books! More skilled then anyother fellowship hobbit.

Remember that he has no experience, just like the rest. He is only skilled because of his dedication to Frodo. In fact, my vote goes towards Merry or Pippin, because they didn't have as much to fight for, and they were still awesome.

How can you state it is just because of Frodo? I mean it sure helped, but how do you know that hua?? What makes you all high a mighty to say so Illuvatar? And the question is who is the best fighting fellowship hobbit? No matter what influence they are under. Sam is the best fighter. Even if he is only a good fighter because of Frodo.
