Turin's sword Gurthang, "Iron of Death" is what I want to know about. One of the if not the most powerful weapons in all of Arda, when he fell on his sword and was buried what happened to the sword. If it was taken were is it and who took it. And if it was buryed with him then it is still in Middle-earth. Because where Turin was buryied survieved the War of Wrath. And survived throught all the war of the ring, including the Forth Age. And it is profisised by Mondos that Turin will kill Morgoth in the Dagor Dagorath with Gurthang his black sword. So did he take it into the after life with him??? Let us discuse this. And tell me your theoris, and also suport why you think this is true.
Me to. And it was on an island so no one knew where it was. And when Turin returns in the Dagor Dagorath, he comes out of his grave and takes it. If I was a person in lord of the rings I would be really tempted to take that sword if I knew where it was. However with out that sword Melkor would have maybe won the Dagor Dagorath. So yes, I agree with you Sir Cody. But it could have been taken by either Melkor or his own people too.
