I thought it was terriable that Ungoliant and Melkor destroyed the two trees. It made me sad. But Melkor smiteing the two trees with his black spear was pretty cool!
thats a scary pic of her and I like how morgoth looks in that pic and a can just imagine morgoth asking "so are you going to help me" then ungoliont answers "yessss I sssshall help you"

Ya, he dose. And I like that picture as well. And Tulkas woudl probably be able to difeat Ungoliant when she was that powerful and big. It would be a close match however.
Ya well Yavanna can't just make more trees and with only 1 tree it would only light up half of Aman. And just because they are sharing dosen't mean that it makes it better to share the 2 trees. I mean sure they are the gods of Arda. They have an obligation to the things, creatures, and people of Arda. But they invited the Elves to stay there but they chose to run away from Valmar's beauty. It was not the Valar's fault. And the 2 trees were destroyed befor the Men and Dwarves hade come to be. So you must now agree with me Illuvatar that their actions were just. Right?

She can make more light. It says so in the Silmarillion. And she could just use some other tree for the holder of the light. And if not there has to be seeds on the two trees right? Anyway even if she can't make more trees. Yavanna could make it work to have a tree for each place. She just has to change the way it waxes and wanes and it would light up both places. Admittedly, it wouldn't be as bright but at least there would be light for both places (by light I mean brighter light then the stars).

I am talking about the people that chose to stay in Middle Earth not the ones that left. Anyway, it was wrong in the first place to say "Come to Valinor or you won't have any light! If you leave you won't have any light either!" That's pretty much what they were doing. It was the Elves own fault that made them not have any light but everybody would be happy (or content at least) if the Valar weren't so greedy.
In conclusion, it was the Elves fault but the Valar's greed.

Yes we discused this on the phone. You just wanted to share your knowlage with our fellow arda lovers. Whitch is a good thing. But I am just saying we agree on everything. And me and Illuvatar came up with this discustion so we are both knowlageable in this topic. Just becasue he wrote it, so ya don't give him all the credit!!! It was the Elves fault but the Valars greed.
I say 70-30 and yours was the 70. I do not know what I was thinking I am sorry. You made up most of it. But the point is we could not have come to the conclusion with out one another.
